Deandre Ayton, born July 23, 1998, is a Bahamian professional basketball player currently playing center for the Portland Trail Blazers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Selected first overall by the Phoenix Suns in the 2018 NBA draft, Ayton entered the league with immense expectations, touted for his combination of size, athleticism, and developing offensive skill set.
