Emmanuel Macron, born December 21, 1977, is a French politician who has served as the President of France since 2017. His ascent to the presidency marked a significant shift in French politics, breaking with the traditional dominance of the Socialist and Republican parties.

Macron’s background is unique for a French president. He wasn’t a career politician; instead, he studied philosophy and public affairs, eventually working as an investment banker at Rothschild & Cie.
