Japan Airlines Emergency Landing

On January 2, 2024, Japan Airlines (JAL) Flight 516, an Airbus A350-900 (registration JA13XJ), experienced a harrowing emergency landing at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan. The aircraft, arriving from New Chitose Airport near Sapporo, collided with a Japan Coast Guard (JCG) Bombardier Dash 8 (MA722) while landing on Runway 34R. The incident resulted in a fiery inferno that engulfed the JAL aircraft, although miraculously, all 379 passengers and crew on board were safely evacuated.
